A light gel-like serum with rose scent that allows your skin hydrate gently and effectively without blocking the natural ability of the skin to absorb moist. Bring back what age takes away from your skin, its Hyaluronic Acid, in an optimal 2% consistency.

Why did i make it?

Recently I started to feel the signs of aging on my skin. It felt less hydrated, less flexible and generally 'tired'. I wanted to create a serum that will keep my skin hydrated and that will actively do so for long hours, and all that without being oily. The hyaluronic acid works by balancing the hydration, so if the air around you is drier than your skin - it might draw water molecules from your skin and not to it. I don't use this serum when I'm in very dry areas.

ROSE WATER originates from rose petals

Rosewater is known for its soothing and cleansing properties. It is often mixed with glycerin, which provides moisturization and lubricity.

GLYCERIN originates from plant

Glycerin is a humectant used often in moisturizers. It has good water-binding qualities and is able to draw and absorb water from the air, thus helping the skin retain moisture. Glycerin also improves the spreading qualities of creams and lotions. It is made chemically by combining water with a vegetable-derived oil.

ROSEHIP OIL originates from rosa canina

An emollient that has shown abilities to improve skin hydration and assist in wound-healing. It is also anti-septic and helps to regulate oil gland secretion. It has very high levels of essential fatty acids, and it is a natural source of retinoic acid. Its UV-protection abilities makes it a good addition to sun protection products.

HYALURONIC ACID originates from yeast

Hyaluronic Acid is a natural moisturizer with excellent water-binding abilities that occurs naturally in the dermis. Its water retention abilities give also immediate smoothness and improve skin appearance.

how to mix it

  1. Mix HA with rosewater
Place the rosewater in a bowl and sprinkle above the hyaluronic acid powder. The powder will not mix - you will notice chunks of it wrapped in what looks like jelly. That's fine, we will take of that later. Don't try to mix it.
  2. Add oil
Add the rosehip oil and the glycerin to the bowl, and using the funnel pour the mix to the bottle. Place the lead and shake it well. The powder chunks are still there, but not for long, don't worry.
  3. Cooling
Put the bottle in the fridge. After an hour you will see your serum consistency has become thin jelly-like and the hyaluronic acid chunks are all dissolved. Your serum is ready!
  4. How to apply
Since hyaluronic acid stays effective on the skin for 24-48 hours, use the serum on a regular basis. Find what works best for you. I had great results with morning and evening application for face and neck, depends on the time of year and my schedule. Remember not to use it in very dry climates, or it will have the opposite effect. Keep the serum in the fridge.
